WHERE ARE YOU FROM AND WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
I spent the first years of my childhood, living in Sydney, Australia where I was born. Before my family relocated too Adelaide, South of Australia, when I was around 3 years old.
WHY DID YOU BECOME DJ?
Like many of the best things in life, it wasn’t a planned decision. It quite simply, happened organically, one night, when playing music at a friends house party. The connection I felt, combining 2 of my favourite things at the time, Electronic Music & Dancing was magic and before I knew it, I was addicted.
CURIUS ANECDOTE ON YOUR MUSICAL CAREER
No doubt one of the best, would involve my name being misspelt. I won’t name & shame, but somebody didn’t check before printing, hundreds of posters & flyers for a club night in Ibiza. That I was DJ (HEATH HOLME) not HEALTH…Ohhhh dear…
BEST IBIZA EXPERIENCE (UP TO BE TOLD)
Probably receiving the call, to go and play for the first time at Bora Bora Beach, way back in 2004.
An experience I’ll never forget, for many reasons. But in particular because at that time, ‘Ibiza’ still had day parties.
Which often meant, that whatever day party Space, Ibiza, were hosting (Space, was just up the road from Bora Bora) everyone, and I mean everyone, came down afterwards to carry on partying at Bora Bora.
As luck would have it, my first set ended up being on a Saturday which was the day Space, hosted Matinee..
By the time I began playing my set, Bora Bora was full, people were going nuts. It was an incredible and nerve wracking experience!
WHAT WILL YOU DO FIRST AFTER PANDEMIC ENDS?
The thing I will look forward to most of all, will be dancing too good music in the open air with friends, underneath the sunshine & later the moon & the stars. The night, will become morning…
WHO YOU WILL SHARE DJ BOOTH WITH?
I have been fortunate enough to share the DJ cabin with many of my idols, but if I had to choose just one, it would probably be a B2B with Ricardo Villalobos.
