¿DE DÓNDE ERES Y DÓNDE CRECISTE? / WHERE ARE YOU FROM AND WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
Mis orígenes son en la región de Valparaíso, Chile. Mi padre es chileno y mi madre alemana. A partir del 2005 comencé a estar en contacto con la isla de Ibiza y desde el año 2011 la considero mi hogar.
My origins are in Valparaíso, Chile. My father is Chilean and my mother German. From 2005 I began to be in contact with the island of Ibiza and since buy test prop 2011 I consider it my home.
¿POR QUÉ ERES DJ? / WHY DID YOU BECOME DJ?
Para mí el arte de la comunicación a través de los diferentes sentidos es esencial, amo ambientar situaciones y lugares en los que la música pasa a ser parte importante de los momentos y recuerdos. El tiempo pasa muy rápido en el proceso creativo; Desde la selección y filtrado del contenido, hasta crear a una composición progresiva para comunicar emociones a través de la música.
Durante los tres embarazos de mi madre, mi padre siempre escuchaba y sigue escuchando música clásica como Beethoven o Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, esas vibraciones y estilo musical nos han dado a mis hermanos y a mí una cierta sensibilidad por la música. Durante cenas o para tener ambientación en casa, para mi padre siempre fue importante tener a la música como acompañante en la vida y yo he ido manteniendo esa tradición en el tiempo con las herramientas y música de hoy en dia, descubriendo nuevos artistas y sellos discográficos en el area del chill-out, downtempo, deep house y techno principalmente.
Por el año 2003 comencé a ir a las fiestas en las que pinchaba Ricardo Villalobos y Luciano en Chile y esto despertó mi interés más allá por la música electrónica. Pasaron varios años hasta que en el 2014 comencé a poner música en algunos hoteles, clubs y hasta programar listas para oficinas y estudios de la isla.
En 2019 he creado “Hydrated Ibiza” y he comenzado a utilizar la música como medio para transmitir este concepto; A través de la música quiero enviar un mensaje, ayudar a mejorar la salud de las personas, cambiar el paradigma de la música electrónica y hacerla más sostenible en el tiempo. La música electrónica no es solamente fiesta y desenfreno, puede ser mucho más que eso.
For me the art of communication through the different senses is essential, I love to ambient situations and places in which music becomes an important part of moments and memories. Time goes very quickly in the creative process; From the selection and filtering content, to create a progressive composition to communicate emotions through music.
During my mother’s three pregnancies, my father always listened and continues to listen to classical music such as Beethoven or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, those vibrations and musical style have given my brothers and me a certain sensitivity for music. During dinners or to have an atmosphere at home, for my father was always important to have music as a companion in life and I have been maintaining that tradition over time with the tools and music of today, discovering new artists and record labels in the world. chill-out area, downtempo, deep house and techno mainly.
Around 2003 I started going to parties where Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano played in Chile and this awake my interest beyond electronic music. After many years, in 2014 I started to play music in some hotels, clubs and even program lists for offices and studios on the island.
In 2019 I created “Hydrated Ibiza” and I started to use music to transmit this concept; Through music I want to send a message, help improve people’s health, change the paradigm of electronic music and make it more sustainable over time. Electronic music is not just party and debauchery, it can be much more than that.
ANÉCDOTA MÁS CURIOSA EN TU CARRERA MUSICAL / CURIUS ANECDOTE ON YOUR MUSICAL CAREER
Fue un día muy especial en el barco pirata Marco Polo de ruta Ibiza – Formentera, era el único Dj a bordo y estuve pinchado más de 7 hora seguidas. Al llegar a la primera parada en Ses Illetes a primera hora del día, éramos casi el único barco en la zona y al paso de las horas estábamos rodeados de barcos con gente bailando, fue alucinante.
It was a very special day on the Marco Polo pirate ship on the Ibiza – Formentera route, I was the only DJ on board and I was playing for more than 7 hours in a row. When we reached the first stop in Ses Illetes early in the day, we were almost the only boat in the area and as the hours passed we were surrounded by many boats with people dancing, it was amazing.

Uf son tantas! Ibiza es un lugar muy mágico! Creo que mi mejor experiencia en Ibiza ha sido tener mi cumpleaños el mismo día que el opening de Space, ha sido uno de los mejores regalos de la vida.
Ugh there are so many! Ibiza is a very magical place! I think my best experience in Ibiza has been having my birthday on the same day as the opening of Space, it has been one of the best gifts in life.
¿QUÉ ES LO PRIMERO QUE HARÁS CUANDO ACABE DEFINITIVAMENTE LA PANDEMIA? / WHAT WILL YOU DO FIRST AFTER PANDEMIC ENDS?
Continuar haciendo lo mismo que he estado haciendo antes y durante, muchas horas en el estudio y seguir adelante desarrollando más proyectos con Hydrated Ibiza e Ibiza Design Studio. Y espero con muchas ganas el opening de Cocoon!

Debido a las circunstancias hemos estado en contacto a través de internet y me han enviado sus sesiones para el programa. Me gustaría mucho poder compartir cabina con cada uno de ellos!
